Can I get health insurance for my pet?
Yes. Health insurance for pets works a lot like health insurance for humans—there are premiums, deductibles, and various levels of coverage. It’s up to you to decide what level of coverage you think works best for you and your pet. Obviously, different coverage levels cover different services and procedures
Does my pet have to get a full set of vaccinations to get a rabies certificate?
Only a rabies vaccination is required to get a rabies certificate. Be aware, though, that your pet will probably need a full physical exam before the vaccine can be administered.
After I have my pet microchipped, is there anything else I need to do?
The microchip itself should continue working throughout your pet’s lifetime without any maintenance. However, the microchip won’t do you or your pet any good unless you have your contact details updated.
What kinds of animals can you take care of?
We provide veterinary care for dogs, cats, horses, cattle, goats, and rabbits. We do not provide care for birds or reptiles.
How do I know if my cat is sick?
Sometimes animals hide their illnesses or injuries, so it is important to be aware of signs of symptoms that require urgent or emergency care. You can find more information about these symptoms online. If you suspect you cat is unwell, please call us. Early veterinary attention can prevent serious illnesses from progressing and reduce the cost of care.
